I'M MARY TALAMANTES
IT’S NICE TO MEET YOU
photographer & adventurer
Thank you for being here. I’m Mary, and I began my journey back during my traveling days when I practically photographed everything because there was a big chance I would never visit the same place again. I then took the same approach to life. I got married, had kids and began documenting every unique moment, and that is how my love affair with photography began and why I am grateful that it continues to unfold.
My inspiration comes from emotion, expressions, tapping into my couple’s special moments, and beautiful luminous natural light and how it beautifully blends together with dreamy film tones. When I’m behind the camera I easily get immersed into the moment, waiting for what is yet to come.
During my free time I enjoy spending it with my little adventurous family just being out and about doing what their little hearts desire. I enjoy my weekly date nights with the hubby, especially if it involves breakfast, cappuccinos, pizza or wine, which it usually does. To unwind from the day I enjoy watching anything from Vogue’s YouTube channel, Pride & Prejudice for the millionth time, do some online window shopping or just watch a good Netflix show with the hubby.
I want to emphasize how important it is that my couples have a great experience, and enjoy their journey and time with me. So, I’ll start by thanking you for being here and considering me for your special day. I really enjoyed sharing a little bit about me, and I can’t wait to hear from you!

Very grateful that I've had the opportunity to watch the sunrise from the top of Mt. Fuji, surfing the waves in Bali, spending my birthday in Cinque Terre, just to share a few. And, now I dream of one day photographing a beautiful intimate wedding overseeing the Amalfi Coast.

Simple Details
My latest project is tidying and redecorating my home. I live by the notion that everything around me should have a purpose. Can you believe that I actually reached out to KonMari before she became famous back in 2012 for advice! She never replied, lol!

Coffee & Wine
A long time dream of mine has been of one day owning an open air -Napa Valley style taps bar, serving global coffee & wine. Luckily my husband is from Spain, so for now I'm okay with bringing home some of their local coffee and wine with me every year.

Kindness & Serving
Every year I pick a community, a non-profit, or just anyone that helps our world be a better place to donate my time and my services to. Last year I worked with A Queen or Hero For A Day Foundation whose motive is to bring some happiness to children with cancer with the motive that the power of happiness heals. It was an amazing experience.

The Beach
The best thing that has happened to me since becoming a Mommy is living life through my kids. They see the beauty and fun in everything, and my best moments have been at the beach letting loose with no worries and all smiles!
My happy place is at some beach with my family.

we do what we do
I do this for my couples for the same reason I do it for myself… to preserve those special moments and hold onto those memories a little longer. Because I believe in the magic of photography and its power to take us back and make us feel.
And, because I have been given this amazing opportunity to connect with my couples and tell their love story through my very own eyes. I enjoy finding unique and beautiful ways to tell their story, and work endlessly to find and create it. At the end of our journey it is rewarding to know that we created a friendship bond, and they know I will always be there for them.
